The Pop Shop Dance Exercise Series was created in response to the Florida mandate for increased hours of Physical Education in Elementary Schools. We had heard that many schools (due to budget cuts) were using the same old video tapes broadcast throughout the school day after day. The kids were exercising to music that was outdated and moves that were not current or fun. So in answer to a parent’s request,we created our own style of exercise using cool hip-hop moves and our original choreography to music that could only come from The Pop Shop! Each session starts with a cool Pop Shop Music Video featuring current Pop Shop members doing an actual performance number that we do on tour! Then we break it down into stretches, dance steps and choreography that we teach you while you are in your classroom at school! All moves were designed to be done right there at your desk! The session ends with you getting the chance to dance along with our group as we perform the number Pop Shop style! Our 1st Exercise Series is available for free to any Elementary school in Seminole County. If you are a teacher or student in a school that is currently not using this tape, have a school administrator call 407-478-3500 and ask for a copy. New series will be shot this summer during our Dance Explosion Camp and offered for a nominal fee to develop a fun and interactive Dance Exercise Library at your school. All dances and music are current, family friendly, encouraging and cool while being non-offensive to teachers and parents alike.
